BOOM
UE's entrance/them was pretty awesome, but I think his AEW one is even better.

BOOM
They have such an easy way to have him get nuclear heat too with the britt/schiavone stuff, all he needs to do is drop tony with super kick

He might get booed if he dropped Britt with a superkick. Maybe.

Last weekend, the local indy promotion brought in "Hardcore" Channing Decker. If you're unfamiliar he's the guy that portrayed Brian Pillman in "Dark Side of the Ring".

Super nice guy.

Regardless, here's his match for the ECPW Celtic Roots Championship from New Waterford, Nova Scotia.

What might be an even bigger deal, my bald spot makes a cameo (I say it's a big deal as I didn't relize just how big it is)

It's a pretty fun match:

I'm not sure if you would get his up in Calgary, but Pure Power in Lethbridge is shown on Shaw TV channel in Lethbridge:

That pop for Hangman was LOUD. Thought the finish to the ladder match was a bit anti-climatic, but whatever. It's time to get the belt on Hangman.

The way Mox fell looked almost like a botch at first, but the rest of the match was really good, that dead eye on pac off the ladder was great

Should be soon too, I dont think they wait for full gear

I do think the move is having hangman take the title, maybe have bryan with the assist when the elite try and interfere, so that omega and bryan can go again at full gear

There are 5 more episodes of Dynamites until Full Gear. I think it'd be kind of silly to put the belt on Hangman before then and then try to shoehorn a quick title feud in at Full Gear. This feud has been building for 2 years basically and deserves a proper PPV send-off.

Boy, you've been broken by modern wrestling booking. Let Omega and Bryan simmer for a bit. Let Hangman get his title at the PPV. This story line has been on the stove since AEW started, it's finally almost done cooking. The worst thing they can do is rush it now that it's so close to an amazing pay off.

I kind of hate that the Joker in the return was Hangman Page, he doesn't need to win a match like that to deserve a title shot. Think he could have been more fun as a surprise return attacking Omega in some way.

Also am I the only one who thinks that they are playing Danielson to become a heel? He's been a face so far, but really his tendencies and they way he talks remind me of the start of his heel turn in WWE.

I could see two things:

-Make Danielson screw Page of the title...making him a super heel.

-Page wins the title and Danielson attacks him right after the match, setting up Page vs Heel Danielson, which could be a lot of fun.

I think that the smarmy, environmental loving, food shaming, heel Bryan from WWE would be a lot of fun in a fued with Hangman though, if not right away maybe further down the line.

Bryan does not need, nor should he be competing for, a title right now. Let him and Omega go at it. They don't need a belt to make it big. Let Hangman carry the belt and try and become the guy.

Ha I don't think I've been broken, they've done these title shot guarantees pretty quickly in the past.

I thought all out was December, which would have given it too much time to wait for hangman imo, dragging it out another 2 months would have been too long now that he has the title shot. A month is just fine and works well.

Guessing Bryan either goes up v Adam Cole or on some kinda tag against the superkliq at all out.

Storyline consistency. Hangman and Dark Order lost a tag match to The Elite in the summer, where the stipulation was that Hangman could no longer challenge Omega for the title. This was the only way he could have gotten a shot.

Looks like Johnny Gargano is gone once his contract is up in December.

Wonder what Braun did to piss off WWE higher ups.

Sounds like Alexa underwent surgery, she's going to be off of TV for a few months.
I think Nia is gone long term, they might have finally gotten sick of her bad work rate.

Right now the WWE woman's divisions that were a strength is now just bad and badly booked. Outside of Roman Reigns and Lashley there's not much that draws viewers.

Thought this was interesting

https://variety.com/vip/vince-mcmaho...on-1235083103/

Two biggest things that stuck out from the data in the article

From 2020 to 2021, amount of people considered 'wwe fans' who talked about aew on social media went from 21 to 39%, vice versa went from 48 to 45

Secondly, the comparative strengthe graphic about halfway down is mindblowing

From people who watch both and asked to rank which was better in certain areas

55% said wwe was better at story telling, and 45% said wwe had better matches on tv

I dont think it's a huge strength, the nxt one was 6ish months ago

But for wwe what it does have is being stacked at the top

Becky, Charlotte, bayley, sasha, and now Bianca, are probably the 5 most well rounded in terms of ring and mic work in north america right now. Britt Baker is probably right behind them, but gaining with her in ring improving a ton. Asuka is right there too.

But with a brand split and injuries/mat leave for so many of them in the last year. Theres 2, max 3 at one time on the same brand. So its diluted, and then poorly booked.

The women below that are booked horribly, they get 90 second matches, or maybe 3 mins if it's a tag.
