I've been ripping on Jansen for a while now, and for good reason as he has been pretty terrible with the bat, but today he hit the ball hard, just right at some guys. He has deserved better.
But you just wanted to see him get a hit there with a man on 3rd late in the game to tack on an insurance run. That's the kind of confidence booster he needed. Instead, he pops it straight up on the infield.
Goddam it.
