It would be a miracle if we got out of this inning tied.

Cmon Biggio! That was right through his legs and would've been one of the easiest double plays you can make.

Question for this who know more than I do. So Castro comes in and blazes through an inning, looking like absolute dynamite. He gets only one inning after throwing fire, why?

No team does this with hard throwing relievers anymore. People need to get over this idea of relievers going two innings. It just isn’t a thing anymore and won’t be til the game changes or is forced to change. Now I don’t know why all the teams do this, but it is pretty much universal now. MLB has tried to do some changes to make this change but I’m guessing it’s teams fears of injuries driving this.

Ugh. Typical Jays game at the Trop. Score some runs early on and then the Rays death by 1000 papercuts takes over. Oh well. On to the next with a chance to win the series tomorrow.

Hopefully that was a turning point for Ray. Of course it's tough to give up a couple home runs, but 9 Ks against 0 walks was huge. Disappointing that the offense wasted a performance like that from him to be honest.
Speaking of the offence, yikes. Just not good enough, and very disappointing some of these guys just can't figure it out.
Gurriel (.410 OPS)
Hernandez (.517 OPS) (when healthy)
Biggio (.551 OPS)
Tellez (.445 OPS)
Jansen (.227 OPS WTF?!)
Just some ####ing disgusting numbers from these guys. Like horri-afwul-bad. Embarrassing stuff guys.
Hopefully Springer comes in hot, and a couple of these other bums get their heads out of their arses. Vlad, Bo and Grichuk (!) can't do it all by themselves.
Semien hasn't been great either, but a 90 WRC+ is passable.

Uh oh, looks like all of our top hitters have lost their patience that had them slugging well. They're now just free swinging at almost every pitch.

lol at these ump calls at the plate. Perfect strike called ball, then calls a huge ball a strike. Forget big or small, this guy doesn't have a strike zone.
