I'm good with him getting a 45 year sentence, he should have been serving that years ago.

I hope this causes a wave of names released of people who were involved in this. Wiping the slate of a group of people sick enough to be involved in something like this can only be a net positive.

I doubt it, there's been a lot of false starts that go no where when it comes to outing high profile pedo's. Epstein is as clear cut case of a high profile pedo as there is, and it has taken a long time to pin him down, he almost got through this whole thing with just a slap on the wrist in 2008.
There's probably a number of high profile pedo's that work together to protect each other, every now and then they have to cut out one that's become too notorious, like Eptein or Jimmy Saville, but no one really has the leverage to put enough pressure on the group to start exposing people. Pedophilia is one of the very best tools for blackmail and as such, it will always be woven into our power structure.

My guess is one or two sacrificial lambs will get burned and the rest will go on living their rich lives.

The journalist who exposed the Panama Papers being killed by a car bomb was the only thing to come out of it.

I have been sifting through some of the more conspiracy oriented sub reddits on the subject of Epstein. It is interesting that often it puts these two in opposition to each other as if paedophilia and sex trafficking was a partisan issue. If a republican, or a democrat is involved it doesn't make all republicans or democrats sex offenders. Political bickering distracts from the central issue, that some of the wealthiest people in the world are able to buy young woman and abuse them without repercussion.

I would think as an accuser, your case is in big trouble when you're the one pleading the fifth.
The young man who accused Kevin Spacey of groping him at a Massachusetts resort island bar in 2016 asserted his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and refused to testify Monday after being questioned about text messages the defence claims were deleted.

I wonder if Spacey has incriminating evidence that would get revealed? Kinda a threat from the Spacey team, "you start testifying, and all this other stuff is coming out..."

My thought is that what they did was consensual and after the fact he figured spacey would be an easy payday.
up until now, who wouldn't believe Spacey was trying to get his hands into a teenagers pants?
interesting what his mother said
Unruh told investigators that she deleted items concerning her son's "frat boy activities" from the phone before giving it to authorities. She acknowledged Monday deleting things that "concerned" her but denied touching text messages or anything else relevant to the case.
what a surprising coincidence that the phone then went missing when returned to the family. wonder if she soon also pleads the fifth.
