My interest in the Lunar Lander skyrocketed after watching the first season of For All Mankind. There's still hope for the shuttle.

I have to say that I never heard the term “Canada Arm” until we moved to Calgary. It was always just called the “robotic arm” to me.

I took a boat tour of the Daintree rainforest from Cairns, Australia. It was off-season, so the only people on the tour were my wife and I, and an older couple from New Zealand. They asked if we were from the USA and I said Canada actually. He said, "thats pretty much the same thing to us down here." I said, "sort of like how people compare Australia and New Zealand?"

They didn't say one word to us for the rest of the trip, and he spent quite a bit of it giving me the stink eye.

I worked in a pub in Britain and I spent the summer being referred to as "The American". All in good fun.

Oh for sure. I wasn't offended, I thought it was hilarious how serious he took it.

To be honest I don't even know. I just figured my want would be at a 7 or 8 and it's maybe at a 6.

I saw one of the last shuttles mounted getting ready to launch on a trip to Florida, so I figured I'd want it more.

Yeah I'd pay just for the Hubble model!

I’m with Photon on this. I was hoping to get the launchpad and booster rockets and payload. The Hubble looks good but no Canadarm? The price per brick feels high and they were obviously trying to get to a specific price point. I’m not normally critical of launch videos but to hear the shuttle partially referred to as a plane rubbed me the wrong way (despite it being corrected by the designer). I’m probably old but I don’t really need to see the developers/builders flying the shuttle around in the video. I’m sure that it will get built around here despite my “yelling at clouds” in this post. I have been waiting for a new shuttle so...

I’d actually like to build a Russian rocket and perhaps the one that launched Sputnik next.

New Star Wars helmets coming out, and a neat looking probe droid in a similar style.

Costco update. Millennium Falcon back in stock with bonus kit.

New hog warts castle with bonus kit. I’ve built this and it is a great build.

Costco update. Millennium falcon is gone and the Lamborghini Sian is now listed. Hog warts castle now the most expensive set on Costco.

Edit: millennium falcon listed again.

Shot in the dark here but does anyone have 60118 they want to part with? Son is obsessed with garbage trucks and this one can lift a dumpster.

There's one out of the US on Bricklink for $26. It's incomplete (but it's just missing some accessory pieces, nothing out of the main build).
https://store.bricklink.com/detroits...41284342#/shop

The complete sets or anything shipping from Canada is looking to be $75 and up.

Bricklink is kind of a weird site to order from. If you need a hand (or don't want to sign up for your own account) feel free to PM or post questions up in here.

there's also a store on Centre St. and 28 Ave N called Brick Bin that opened before Christmas. It's like Video Game Trader for Lego. They have all sorts of stuff, bulk to old/new complete sets to unopened.

Edit: Avoid it on Sat/Sun if possible

Edit2: I took some photos of interior on Dec 7 to send to someone else
