Wow this interview with Grosjean on right now is intense!

He was ready to die for a moment.

Huge screwup by Mercedes. Now we get to see what kind of driver Russell actually is.

Ugh my heart broke for Russell. How the Merc machine had such an epic F-up is unbelievable.

Poor Russell, he was in the best car all weekend. Likely deserved a W, but that's racing. Perez is on a mission. Car takes a pretty good hit when Leclerc lunged on turn 4. Got the bit between his teeth and drove his ass off. That guy needs a seat. Criminal that he may not get onr. RBR would be making a big mistake to not take him. Also, great drive by Ocon.

Bottas is out of a job after next year. Horrible luck, but just isn't fast enough.

For me I'm wondering if the biggest impact from the weekend is Russell's performance taking some shine off Hamilton. Russell stepped in and led FP1, FP2, 2nd in qualy, led most laps in race. In a car where he doesnt know the controls, settings, too small for him, etc. Really interested to see how well Russell could do in Abu Dhabi if Hamilton is still sick.

I really hope Hamilton can't go next weekend. For a bottom 5 driver to get to first place twice in one race is incredible. You're right, I bet this was a blow for Hamilton to watch, he didn't want a situation where there's a legitimate question now of "how much is the car and how much is the driver" when it comes to his success.

Clearly Hamilton called Toto mid-race and demanded the team sabotage Russell. Doesn’t want his legacy tarnished, especially since he only recently set the record.

Bottas = Barrichello. A good driver. Can win poles and races. But clearly the #2 driver.

Really makes you wonder if Verstappen is actually the best the F1 driver right now.

On pure single lap pace with an identical car there's no doubt in my mind now (with Ham, Leclerc, and Russell after him). I do think Hamilton (and maybe Perez) are brilliant in race long performances, tire mgmt, and race craft. Hamilton simply doesn't make mistakes which is why he is still the GOAT. Max and Leclerc lack a bit of patience still IMO.

Max, Leclerc, and Russell will be awesome to watch going forward.

Don't look now...but there's a lead change!! Agulati has pulled 1 point ahead of Jayswin for top spot after he got Ricciardo correctly slotted. It's all gonna come down to next weeks picks!!

Since it is so close...make sure you both get your picks in before midnight, and DON'T FORGET!!

DFO wins this week managing 3 correct slots, 9/10 top 10, and picking up 21pts. Nice work after lap 1 crash. 3thirty was 2nd with 2 correct and 15points.

Spoiler!

Yep, I was gong through and saw that Agulati got one. The crappy thing I was about to switch Albon and Ricciardo which would have given me two correct slotted, but thought against it last second.
