It's windy and a tight par 70 playing 7300 yards.

But only 8/70 under par is a bit crazy for the PGA Tour

Here's hoping one of Hughes or Conners will make East Lake.

Easier conditions today. Connors making an early run. Huge day for both.

Needs an up and down from the green side bunker here on 18 to make it.

That was incredible to watch. Some meddling golfers will get one pressure shot in their careers to keep something alive. Hughes with a bunker plus 5 footer with the highest of stakes.

I miss puts like that when I have 85 on the line, lol.

And then that right after. What a fun day of golf to watch. You just know Rahm was like "yeah, I'll pop some irons into the range and wait for Johnson to miss and then go grab some dinner".

Even in the interview Hughes was still shaking. What pressure that was.

What an incredible finish to that tournament. Two incredible putts holed on the 72nd and then in the playoff. Wow

Yeah that is one of the best finishes ever, not just two long putts, but two very difficult putts.

That was absolutely incredible. Some days I venture off from golf finishes and today was almost one of them. To be honest it was Hughes' push for East Lake that kept me there. So glad I stayed.

Rahm's putt was incredible. Really wonder if that goes down without the pin in.

So happy for Hughes. Gets into everything next year. Being able to set your schedule is so huge.

This is the second year of the new Tour Championship format and I'm curious to hear what people think of it. I personally like the small field of 30 golfers but I don't like the strokes given (handicapped) format. I think I would prefer to see either a standard tournament or even a match play format where they bump the field up to 32 and do a best vs worst with a reseed after every round. I think the match play would be really exciting and interesting.
