Flames Rookie Camp starts this week
Looks like undrafted Red Deer Rebels teammates, forward Ben King and goaltender(!) Connor Ungar have been invited...

just guessing, but Ungar invite likely means three Flames goalie prospects (Wolf, Parsons, Chechelev) will be at rookie camp, with Ungar balancing things out for the 1st week

Ben King is a decent prospect-many expected him to be drafted this year, in his second year of availability. 28 pts in 21 games is nothing to sneeze at, especially for a guy who’s 6’3”. He didn’t have a lot to play with either-the next leading scorer on the team has 21 pts, and the next guy after that had 13 pts. Also, Ben King rhymes with Ken King.

Also, there's an AFL player named Ben King worth signing too. He's an athlete and will pick up the spot easily!

BK is eligible to be signed. Undrafted players whose rights belong to CHL teams are free agents, even at 18 or 19 years old.

I wonder how many prospects are slipping through scouting views with all the restrictions and limited availability of last season. Would not surprise me if there is some significant talent not on anyone's radar.
I stand by this invite, and hope we can't help falling in love with him.
..sry I just couldn't restrain.

He can be signed up until the start of the CHL season (October 1) unless he is signed to a tryout contract. If signed to an ATO, he can be signed to an ELC up until the start of the NHL season.
After that, he would have to re-enter the draft one more time.

I really think that Martin Pospisil is going to continue his strong play from limited time last year this year in the AHL and is seen as a legitimate NHL prospect by the end of the season.
