Default Nothing says "Welcome back to Calgary" like this...


Hubby and I got back from Menorca, Spain last night. This morning, bleary-eyed, we headed to Bumpy's Cafe on 8th St. SW for some coffee and as the guy set down my husband's cappuccino, he said to me "Are you a hockey fan?" - confused I said, yes - and a few minutes later my mocha got set down with this in it!!!!! He apologized, saying it was a bit of a work in progress, but I thought it looked great! Made my morning!!!!! It was almost sad to drink the mocha and ruin the design.

Two thumbs up to Bumpy's and their barristas!!!

Ahh I was hoping it just occurred naturally, and was a sign!

On other boards I frequent (mommy type boards), people use the oh so sickening, "DH" - as in "darling husband" , which makes me want to vomit, so hubby is what I tend to use. Sorry about that.

No apologies needed, I just have a personal grievance with that term - almost like it objectifies husbands to "pet like" status, like it's something wives can show off to their girlfriends as an accessory.

DH, I think, is probably worse though

That is awesome!


And Bumpys is a GREAT coffee shop for those in the know. Their Vietnamese Latte is mind blowingly good. I highly recommend checking it out:
