The Flames used to be elite at 3 on 3 OT. Now we struggle to generate anything.
Very frustrating, but it shouldn't have been even close to OT to begin with.

Need to make changes to the PP. Doesn’t look dangerous at all.

Out shoot your opponent by a wide margin and still lose because of a lack of finish from the forwards.

You're also not going to win without offensive defensemen in the lineup. We need Stone and Kylington.
The obsession with trying to recreate the Regehr era needs to end.

Went from no points to one point. Surely we'll win the next one...

This team is just really going to have to bury it's chances if they want to sniff 3 goals in a game. I don't doubt the effort was there, but you need someone who can pot a goal or two as well.

Snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. We will be in the lottery again.

Just play Kylington
I’d rather enjoy watching losses than not enjoy them

In reality, this is what we can probably expect from the Flames most nights. Sutter is a great X's and O's guy and he will have the team generating shots and possessing the puck.
But the biggest problem, as it has been for the last 4-5 years, is a lack of skill. It wasn't addressed this off-season. We actually went the other way.
The team lacks goal scoring and puck moving defencemen. So many keys pieces are missing on this team.

If they can only get 2 goals against a bottom feeder what are they going to do against good teams.? They played well but that doesn’t mean anything without 2points.

Thought flames played good, but frustrating as hell to lose. Monahan isn't looking very confident these days. We'll be ok.

Why wouldn’t you put Dube and Mangiapane out there in OT after Gaudreau?
They are 1000x faster than Backlund and Monahan.

Gibson stole that game. I thought that is what we were getting with Markstrom, but it sure doesn't look like it.
The first goal should have been stopped, the second goal could have been stopped and this game would have ended in regulation.
Really disappointed to see Markstrom get outplayed so badly.
