I'm guessing Gus will make an apperance in Better Call Saul. If Mike is in the show he will cross paths with him eventually.

Wow, finally watched this weeks episode.
That was seriously one of the best episodes of Television I've watched in a long time. I'd put that on par with almost any of the greats of Breaking Bad. Jonathan Banks was amazing in that episode.

That Chris Joss tune that was playing when Mike was looking through the Kettlemans place was just an awesome beat, so smooth

This show continues to impress. I would have considered myself EXTREMELY skeptical of the spin off but it has totally won me over. Great all around.

Last night's episode was the best yet IMO as the story is developing nicely.

Was that a mugshot of Jesse in the collage of Wanted posters in the police station? My eyes kept gravitating to one of a bearded kid that vaguely resembled him.
Maybe that was an Easter egg. Seemed like a few people in the wanted posters were in the episode., like the big guy in the bathroom.
Anyway, so I decided I would expose my son to "Gremlins", and low and behold Jonathan Banks is in there as a policeman. He has aged well. He looked pretty goofy back then.

Now if I could only convince my sister to watch this show. She proposed that Saul was the weak points of breaking bad. Seems like a tall proposition for me to overcome.
But I love it so far! Kim seems like she's been typecast as the confidant for Saul, much like Skylar. It's creepy but I can handle it, and she's been good to this point. Guess all the characters are typecast in their own way.

Are you sure typecast is the right word? I am not sure what you are trying to say.

Is Saul wearing a rug for the show? It certainly looks like it.

She was the bright spot for me.
So, the parking lot attendants dead son was completely honest and that got him killed.
Saul, is obviously too honest, as he didn't spend any of the Kellermans money even when he desperately needs to, and got parking attendant guy to even help him.
Wonder if this will tie in together, actually I'm not just wondering, I see a wonderful bonding happening.

Did he not spend a bunch of their money on new suits and shirts, and a billboard ad?

He did, then he replaced that from his own bank account (remember he's going pretty well now with elder law) to make whole all of the money that the Kettlemans stole

As a fan, it's fascinating reading your take on things because you haven't had the chance to see their characters fleshed out in another show.
'parking lot attendant' is such an amazing way to look at Mike, i'm almost jealous of you.
Maybe after this season of Saul is done you should give Breaking Bad another shot.

When I got Shomi, BB was the first thing I looked for and the first thing I was depressed about it not having. I'd totally watch it, but I'm just to damn lazy to go buy DVD's or whatever. and I dont' have netflix. maybe I should get netflix for a month or 2.
It's not like I watched it and gave up on it, I just never got around to recording it, and then before you know it, it's over.

So with Jimmy being pretty clean cut and honest so far, something drastic has to happen one would think for him to turn into Saul. There has to be some tragedy involved with his brother and/or BFF girlfriend IMO, I just wonder if they're going to use that as a season cliff hanger or string it out a bit more

I think he is calculating moreso than honest. Right now it seems the perks of being honest are more than the perks of being dishonest.
