I was in Cuenca. People tied dolls to the front of their vehicles (weird), set off fireworks in the streets, and maybe, if I'm remembering correctly, burned the dolls in the street at midnight?

Sounds like Pepple is signing in Madrid, I’m not sure which club.

Ledgerwood has re-signed for 2021. So far that gives Di Chiara, Adekugbe, Simmons and Ledgerwood in centre mid. Maybe Zebie is the odd man out? Simmons is training with a club in Sweden, but that club is flat broke so they can't afford to sign him.

I think he was trialing at Getafe last week.

For anyone interested in the women's game, Calgary Foothills tweeted that their UWS team will be back in 2021.

This Offseason series with Tommy and Ryan Pinder are great. Some fun insight from Tommy into the club. Really enjoying this series and looking forward to more episodes.

Love that some of the new guys love the atmosphere at Spruce Meadows and the thundering presence of the fans. Love hearing that stuff, particularly from players from other teams.

God I love this team and can't wait for the next season. I'm pulling my hair out here, I need Cavalry soccer so bad.

During Christmas lights at Spruce Meadows it would be a real shame if we went around and planted flares and smoke bombs in and around the grounds to use in the upcoming season...

Joel Waterman was just called to the Canadian national team for a camp in January. Only CPL player on this squad is Marco Bustos, who I've always found to be pretty overrated due to his inconsistency.

Encouraging to see Ayo Akinola in there after this recent call up to the USMNT.

Unfortunately there aren't any games scheduled so none of the players can be capped. Hopefully in March when we play Bermuda and the Cayman Islands we can cap tie some of the young players.

Cavs sign Tom Field, was in the Rep of Ireland u16s and is a left back. From the Brentford academy which is a good academy.

Seems a good signing. Experience in the Championship, League One, League Two which are all a higher level than CPL. Secretly a little gutted that Mavila wasn't going to change his mind and return, but this seems like a solid replacement.

Oh man, get that vaccine out! If we can get a few hundred in the stands for April and increase throughout the year that would be incredible.

I will drink all of the $14 beers. And will try and get a bottle of wine in the stands again. Shut up and take my money!

Also, I've been trying to buy a home shirt for months but neither the club nor the league has one in my size. Anyone know if the size of the home shirt is the same as last year? The away shirts are bigger than the home / away shirts from last year.

I cannot wait to get my (drunk) ass to Spruce Meadows. I hope to GOD we're back cheering in those stands this year.

With this signing and Selmani, we have some interesting options at forward.

Really like our wings. Field, Farsi, Escalante, and Luca (is he a winger?) should stretch the field, even more depth if Pasquotti can make it back.

Midfield is stacked, tons of options, rotation won't be an issue.

Centre backs are a concern after Trafford and Zator. Still need more depth there. Boskovic and Wheeldon won't hack it next season.
