That was really stupid.
You'd think he'd take at least 1 boxing lessons before this fight.
Having people fight like that with no training and no head gear is not entertaining, it's absurd.

They were advertising betting lines the whole PPV, if I had money on this I'd be pissed.

You mean it was a thocker, amright?

Tyson should’ve won. I don’t think Jones won even one round. He was gassed after one round. Tyson’s cardio was pretty impressive.

I wonder if they agreed to keep it mostly to body shots. Mike was heavy in close, but didn't go to push away with a sneak uppercut, which he did in every fight longer than two rounds before this one.

Roy was not ready for a real fight the way that Mike was. Tyson lost some speed, but I got the feeling he could have gone 3 minute/12 round if he had to.

Lopez's call of the fight was great. If he thought that they were phoning it in for a round, he called it out. Jones's fighting style turned to 'huggy bear' after those two body shots early.

Tyson looked like he was ready for more of a "real" fight for sure. The power was still there on some of those body shots too.

I like how in the post fight interview, Jones said that one of the early body shots stole his energy, it was so hard. Mike came back and said that he took it, and he respects that.

It seemed to indicate that Mike knew that he could still throw knockdown punches, and that Jones could take one and continue the fight to decision was impressive by itself.

I have to admit, the body shots in the first two rounds looked really painful, and after that it turned into more of a boxing match.

As for the corruption, I agree it's really bad. It's why I stepped away from boxing. The only way that I can see to get out of it, is for one set of belts to market itself as the only ones that matter, and create an actual league.

I scored it 47-47, agreed with the decision. Had Fig winning 1, 2, and 5. Moreno gets 3 and 4 with 3 being a 10-8.

Both guys showed a ton of heart, incredible showing especially with how they both just fought 3 weeks ago.

Book the rematch next summer.

The card was pretty amazing as a whole, except for watching Father Time catch up to Tony.

I had Moreno in 2,3 and 4 but I can see how people could look at it differently. Oliveira will get that belt at some point IMO. Such a complete fighter.

Max Holloway putting on a masterclass against an elite boxer in Calvin Kattar, good lord.
Over 540 attempted strikes, over 200 landed by Max at the end of the fourth round, how is Kattar still standing.

Volkanovski is scared right now for sure. Holloway looked the best he has ever been.

I felt Kattars toughness might of even been more impressive then the beatdown Max dished out.

That was quite a fight. How Kattar survived is incredible to me as well. Holloway's striking was so crazy.

No discussion on predictions for tonight’s fight? I’m going mcgregor by submission in first round. I’ll go 2.43 into the first specifically.
