Default Madden '11

Just played the demo on PS3 and I quite enjoyed it. As a guy who isn't a huge football guy, the Gameflow feature is great. Having the coach call the plays instead is awesome..beats having to flip through all the plays to find the right one

Chalk me down as someone who enjoys gameflow as well. Also the running game sold me on a purchase.

This is a good deal if you have the right games, I happen to have two on the list that I think are terrible games so I'll happily ditch them.

If you want to save 10 bucks they have NHL 10 on for $30 and Madden 11 is $70. Buy 2 used NHL 10s and get madden for 60 instead of 70.

You can't trade two of the same game even if it's two games but on different consoles.

Downloaded the demo, pretty cool. I'm not a football guy at all, so having a coach choose the plays is nice. The headset feature is decent as well. I won't buy the game, but the demo is fun.

I downloaded the demo tonight. Played 3 games and I am sold on it. I haven't bought a madden game in 3 years because I found it would take me longer to pick a play then actual game play. I will be buying this game tomorrow, can't wait.

Simmons and Gus Ramsey chatted about Madden 11 and a bunch of other stuff (The Expendables) on his podcast yesterday.

When it comes to play calling in football games I'm borderline mentally handicapped. I just pick the plays where the red arrow is going diagonal either through the middle of the field or out. I really like the game flow thing.

Last week I went to Futureshop to trade in some games for free Madden. The sign said "Trade two now and get Madden 11 Free". So I went ahead and did that but the guys didn't have a SKU to put in because the game wasn't out so they just traded my games in, gave me a gift card, and wrote on the receipt "Madden trade 2 get it free". I told them to initial the receipt because it looked really sketchy. I'm expecting it's going to be difficult to get my Madden today.

I haven't bought since 2008 but based on what was said here and what I have read especially about the new online (me and 2 friends at my place rocking online) and 2 stick running system. Thanks alot, lol.

FYI bestbuy has a 1 day deal on today. a PSP 3000 with Madden 11 for $130

I was able to get my copy of Madden from Futureshop. Apparently their weird way they took my pre-order was the right way.

I wish now I wouldn't have bought Madden 10 a few months ago for $30. I'm not much of a football fan so like others have mentioned I blindly pick plays and having the coach do it for me would have been much more convenient.

You guys realise that there is an 'ask madden' option in the playcall screen if you don't know what play to pick in whatever situation.

Gameflow is much easier

Not having played Madden in a few years, I enjoy the feature in BAP that allows you to skip the parts of the game you're not playing in

I am aware of that button. However, what I like about Game Flow is that the coach actually explains what is going to happen. Like on a running he play he says "wait for the blocks and give 'er balls" whereas I normally just try and run right away. I would always use Ask Madden but this Game Flow, to me at least, makes the game more fun.
