And it's getting back to that now, a bit. It was very strong tonight and has been for the last couple episodes with probably the best acting of the series so far.

I'm a couple episodes into season 2. And will not be monitoring this thread until I catch up.

This season has been the best so far IMO. Darker than the 1st but it does the drama much better than 2 or 3.
I love this show.

i am a big fan of this show. i am happy that louis has had a bigger part this season.
though i am confused. they have all this drama to bring in this new jeff malone character so he can be lead in all this drama, and he has been pretty inconsequential all season.

(Spoiler from last night)
I've heard a few theories that he might still be in with the SEC which is how they found out about him and Jessica. That'd be an awesome twist.

Couple of questions:
1) Didn't Jessica fire Jeff, or was that just playful flirting type of thing?
2) Louis re-signing felt like the final arc for him. I wonder if he will be gone for awhile?

I enjoyed the first episodes of the first season because Mike had more of his own life and there was the issue of his past competing with his future. Jenny was a good dramatic match but she disappeared abruptly as did all his ties to his own life (friends, family) and the forced office romance with Rachel is annoying as hell. She ruins the show for me.
The plots are too neatly wrapped up, the people are overly dramatic, the logic makes giant leaps, and I generally can't watch the show any more.
It's a shame because the show has a great foundation, great characters, but does nothing good with them anymore. It's just another office drama show.

I thought Jeff Malone was added in an attempt to explore another side of Jessica.
Before Malone, basically the only reason to show any interaction with Jessica was to show that Harvey was getting pressured to fix something before it caused the firm to go bankrupt/lose a client/etc.
Now Jessica has to balance a personal life while running a law firm.

Rachel is a Lana Lang level of annoying character on this show. Whiny, annoying and an idiot.

Not upset to see him go, but I'm wondering if that actually sticks. I imagine he'll be back on the show sooner rather than later.

Rick Hoffman has his Emmy submission episode for supporting actor. That was awesome.

Agree. Haven't really been a fan of his character, but to see him get so fired up was a nice change. Cant wait to see where they take that story line.
