Restoring a Windows 10 Profile

Computer locked up last night while downloading latest windows updates. When restarted this morning my user profile was corrupted (all user settings reset to start).

Anyone know how to restore a user profile in Windows 10?

(and apologies if this belongs in the Windows 10 thread).

There are a few ways. The methods from Windows 7 and 8/8.1 work with Windows 10.

I know it doesn't do you any good now, but always have an up to date system image.
