That makes no sense. Tied game you can win it later if their kicker can't make a FG.

I don't agree with it either, a Raiders lead is probably worse since the Chiefs can use all four downs. But either way with the time left the Chiefs can easily bleed the clock out whether it's tied or a 1 point deficit, so I'm assuming McDaniels is thinking might as well win with a missed kick.

Interesting thing here is what do you do if you get to fourth if you're the Chiefs? Chiefs defense has been poor so I'd be inclined to go for it.

Raiders won't score a TD though, they'll bleed the clock and kick to win. Andy made a terrible call on third down, and then doesn't trust the best QB in the league to finish the game. They deserve this loss.
