I get paranoid I incorrectly assumed my children were at day home, with grandparents or babysitter etc. on a regular basis and forgotten in my vehicle.
A few years ago, I mindlessly kept driving towards work. Within a few minutes of passing the turn to dayhome and commuting towards work, I hear, "Daddy, do I get to visit your office today?" It still keeps me paranoid to this day that if my kid was sleeping, he could have been left in a freezing cold vehicle for the day because of my potential error (day home likely would have called asking why he wasn't there though.. but still). I'm also paranoid it could happen again.
I saw something similar on a tv show, you tie a string to your kid's finger, and loop the other end snugly around your dick. You won't make it far before this memory technique kicks in.

At an elementary school track meet, of all places:

“A gentleman stepped out of the crowd, who I understand is a grandfather of a person who was competing, and he said ‘Hey! This is a girls’ event, why are boys throwing?’” Starr told CTV News on Tuesday, adding she had never seen this man before.
After some confusion, Starr realized that he was pointing at her daughter—who has a pixie cut hairstyle—while accusing the volunteer of allowing boys to compete in the event.
When she stepped in to explain that her child—one of two he believed were boys—was in fact a girl, Starr says he dismissed her and insisted the kids were either boys or transgender.

I think it’s pretty gross that a parent has to feel the need to appease some pos having a conniption because their daughter has a short haircut.
I 100% agree, not taking a shot at you, nor do i think it should be tolerated. I've just given up on old people that have been a-holes for 50+ years, better off just waiting for them to die than give them any attention.

The (BBC) found hundreds of customers in the US, UK and elsewhere paying Indonesians to torture and kill baby long-tailed macaques on film.
The torture ring began life on YouTube, before moving to private groups on the encrypted messaging app Telegram.
Global Affairs has confirmed the death of a Canadian citizen in Germany, after police in the Kempten district said a woman was pushed to her death last week by an American man at a popular tourist attraction.
Quote:
German authorities have said that two female tourists from the U.S. were hiking near Neuschwanstein castle in southern Germany on June 14 when they encountered a 30-year-old American man on the path. He allegedly lured them onto a trail leading to a viewpoint, and attempted to sexually assault one of them before pushing her off a cliff.
When the woman's friend tried to intervene, she was pushed off the cliff as well, authorities said.
The American man has been detained, authorities said.
I get all the onesies-twosies of people doing bad things but hundreds of people paying to watch torture of animals? There's just too much inherent evil in our species.
That reminds me of the one trip that I made to BC with my buddies and we came up to a truck that rolled over on the TCH and there was Red Bull all over the road and ditch. We grabbed quite a few in tact cans off the ground even though none of us actually drank the stuff regularly.
HOW was this...this..."person" deemed mentally fit enough to stand trial? This is someone who needs to be kept out of society for the rest of their life.
“I’m getting so angry and I’m starting to fantasize about hurting people when I get angry. And I don’t want to fantasize about that,” the cat killer told investigators, according to an account relayed to court by Greenwood last spring.
“I have a plan if I’m released from here and that’s why doctors won’t let me go,” the prosecutor quoted from Raugust’s statement.
The agreed statement also says that while she was at the Peter Lougheed Hospital last January, Raugust told her probation officer that she wanted to set fire to her former residence at 515 20th Ave. S.W. so she could watch its occupants burn.
