Lots of websites reporting that The Batman is set on Earth-2, setting up potential tie ins with the Flashpoint movie.

Spoiler!
I saw the 62 original when I was 3 or 4 years old, I'm 36 now and have been waiting for this ending this ending the majority of my life. I like to think I got off lucky with falling in love with Godzilla and co rather than trains as my special interest. Probably took as much heat for it, but it's just too fun.

Godzilla vs Kong was so much fun. Everything you want from a giant monster movie.

Do I need to see Godzilla 2? Should I? I didn’t hate the first one.

Some of the same characters and there were a few scenes that referenced 2. One of which is more impactful if you watched 2 but the movie isn't required to watch this one.

I've been waiting for Space Jam 2 forever. I think LeBron is perfect for it. Doesn't look as fun, but we'll see.

Need those vintage Toon Squad jerseys tho.

So what brings this basketball game about?

Well, Al G Rhythm is keeping Dom in the Server-verse in order to steal some of LeBron’s followers on social media. And apparently the only way to get Dom back and stop this AI villain is with a game of basketball.

The first Space Jam is a classic. It's got some great humour. But most of that came from the set-up mirroring Jordan's real life and the support characters, which looks quite a bit different here. Getting pulled into the golf hole while on the course with Larry Bird and Bill Murray >>>>> "Matrix Hell" random cyber portal.

Murray added a lot to the first one, so hopefully they can capture that somehow. Wonder if Bill Hader will have a role, they had good chemistry in Trainwreck.

It’s a “classic” because of how old we were when it came out. But you are right that the MJ playing baseball part as the reason he wasn’t stolen was a nice touch.

If you haven't seen it in a while I recommend checking it out. It has some really great moments that are fun for adults as well. I think it's well worth a watch for some Bill Murray lines alone.

Got through the new Justice League in 4 sittings. It was nice to have this broken up into easily watchable chapters.

This is a big improvement from the original in terms of story, character development, and tone. There actually a coherent plot here and there is now time for much needed introductions, especially with Cyborg. Be careful what you wish for with Zack Snyder though. His vision is on full display here with constant dark tone telling an epic story but that also comes with negatives of constant slow motion and weak writing. The story and villain motivations are simple and reminded me how LOTR and Infinity War handled similar concept much better. There are also a number of odd story choices that left me shaking me head. This includes all the sequel baiting. He could have cut this down to 3 hours without all the unnecessary parts, especially the epilogue, thrown in.

Overall I was engaged and enjoyed the film. It felt like a more deserved treatment for the Justice League with proper character set up and a logical bringing together of the team for an epic world saving event. I think I gave the original a 5/10. The Snyder cut gets a 7/10.

The more that I think about it, Martian Manhunter really bothers me.

What was the point of pretending to be Martha? That could have been a nice little scene between the two women, and instead it's a scene between a woman and a shirtless manly man wearing a Martha suit.

Could he not join into the fight? Strong as Superman guy? Just a little?

Ben Affleck's offhanded 'whatever' moment during the fifth or sixth epilogue scene was perfect. I wouldn't take green floaty man very seriously either.
