I'd hate to see Genie not see this match out after taking a 4-0 lead with a 2nd break of Konta.

Genie, I don't know, she just can't do things easy. She always seems to step it up when shes up against it. Showing a lot of the fight we saw in 2014.

Great win, now it gets a bit more difficult. Cibulkova next, Radwanska in the 4th, Kvitova in the QFs, Serena in the SFs. Obviously I'm not expecting her to do all that (and women's tennis being as it is, will likely change), but wow that is really tough. But if she fights like she has she has a good chance to make a run.

Bottom half of the draw is really weak too. Del Potro can absolutely go on a run and make the SF. Really happy to see him back performing again, such an immense talent just hampered by injuries.

That guy has been playing awesomely and making a big move up the rankings. Was looking forward to keeping tabs on him throughout the tournament. Could've been a threat to the top seeds at Wimbledon. Bummer.

My wife walked into the man cave and asked me, "Who's that tall drink of water? I told her it was Del Potro. She said she has a new favourite men's tennis player (lol)

At this point given the dodgy looking forecast for Saturday and Monday, play on middle Sunday appears to be almost a given. Also the continued unfair advantage for Roger/Serena continues (Novak got the Court 1 shaft today). They're both right on schedule.

They're idiots. After the Del Potro match, they spent 20 minutes OPENING THE ROOF. Then Serena played 8 games (4-4 against McCale) and they spend 20 minutes CLOSING THE ROOF.

I get that they want this to be an outdoor tournament but come on...
