Oil and gas are both only fungible if your describe them sufficiently. Oil has different api density, sulfur content, etc. One barrel is almost never exactly the same as another. Once you put it in a stream and convert into a barrel of WTI then every barrel is fungible.

Nat gas is the same- heat content etc varies, but once you have an mmcf of Nymex gas its described enough (and mixed enough) that they're all the same.

I'm in favour of utilizing my vocabulary.

This is probably inconsequential to many people but I hate how many restaurant apps have separate Canadian and US versions. Some apps like Uber Eats or Starbucks have a single version that works in multiple countries but other apps like McDonalds or Burger King require a separate download. It is made worse by Google requiring a separate account set to the US region in order to download the US app.

I hate this too! I'm a Canadian living in the US and I need separate American apple ID just to download the US only apps in order for them to work here

I really don't see how I'm making it through the pothole season without losing a tire. It's absolutely ridiculous out there this year.

Sutter grinds my gears, my 3yr old went to the morning skate on Thursday. They were told they needed to move away from the bench as he didnt want his players getting distracted. Players usually chat after during and after practice with the handful of ppl that go to these and that was also not allowed as he wants them to have the playoff mentality.

If a 3yr old is causing that much of a distraction then you have bigger issues.

He still had a great time and Markstrom sprayed water at the glass he was standing behind. Hmmm, maybe thats what he was thinking about during the Vegas loss.

Tough call, because this is the closest experience to the playoffs those players are getting this year!

This might be the smallest tax increase in history.

Canada is set for its largest alcohol tax increase yet. Here’s what to know

Canadians could soon be paying around a quarter more for a 24-pack of beer thanks to the largest increase yet to a federal tax on alcohol.
i read that as a 25% increase.... not a literal 'quarter'.... as in 25 cents

Speaking of alcohol, I forgot that Parks Canada camping is alcohol free on long weekends. What a stupid and asinine policy that really sucks a lot of fun out of camping. Does anyone know how strict they actually are about alcohol in the Banff campgrounds? I'm guessing that mixed drinks would go unnoticed but beer might get you in trouble.

I think the rule just empowers them to get rid of any donkeys that can’t maintain some level of self control.

Get a set of insulated tumblers. I picked up some from Costco for the trailer a few years ago. Holds the temperature of your “beverage” and no one has ever asked me what’s in it. They also come with sippy lids for adults, which is great for camping.

Did they expand that everywhere now? Jasper used to be just quiet time at 11 no booze or fires after. But even that wasn’t really enforced. It’s just a tool.
