Oh, I forgot about this one which I do if I'm going back to the same hotel and same city for a while. When you make your trips back home, leave your suitcase and suits, dress shirts at the hotel. Check it and they will hold it for you with a bag check. Leave your stuff on hangers so they don't crease - they'll hang them in the back for you. Then you can just fly home without your suitcase whether it's checked or a roller carry-on. It's nice. When you arrive the next time, you can do all your check ins through your mobile phone, and once they send you your mobile room key, you can chat with front desk, give them your bag check ticket number and ask them to move your bag and clothes to your room.

Even if you aren't travelling super frequently, this is an absolute game changer. It's totally worth having a travel "go bag" that has it's own toothbrush/paste, floss, charging cables, earphones, floral print lavender scented eyemask, maybe some cash, passport, etc - basically all the stuff you use daily and would have to pack day of departure.

When you get home you don't have to return any of that stuff, and if you run out of one of those essentials at home, you can pillage your go bag (just need to remember to replenish)
