To be fair, the guy is getting a significant ticket, I would give anyone the benefit of the doubt in that situation, it seems like the news program is going out intentionally to cause confrontations more than anything. How do people really think that is going to end?

You don't have to a dick in return. Just ignore the guy and drive away when you got your ticket. For sure it's annoying but rise above it and be the better person.

Piss on that. If someone goes and films traffic stops, you have to expect that people are going to tell him off and he wasn't even that rude about him. He called him fat and inconsequential.

A $500 ticket on public property probably means he was being stupid behind the wheel. Lights Camera Action!

No, the kid definitely did not like being filmed, which will likely be the most lasting part of the event. You heard him, the fine really wasn't going to mean anything, but public shaming is a great deterrent, and should be used more often to punish people whose crimes endanger the public, like reckless driving.

In the video description it said that he was in the car pool lane when he was the only occupant.... oh the endangerment!

He called someone who makes a living out of filming people getting traffic tickets fat and inconsequential, not exactly the worst comments I have ever heard.

I personally think that if someone sticks their camera in someone's face, and that person gets punched, I'm totally ok with it.

The mouthy punk was unhappy that he was being filmed and chose to be a jackass. He brought the whole incident upon himself by getting that ticket. The fact he tries to use the woe is me victim card is hilarious.

I never said he was endangering anyone, I said public shaming should be used routinely where the public is endangered, such as reckless driving.

It wasn't a picture or video, but your lack of reading comprehension was pretty funny to me.

Except he's not doing that, he's upset that someone is right in his face filming. The cop is a real idiot for letting the camera guy get that close to the situation to begin with. If you want to film from a distance, go ahead, but the guy was right next to the officer. The officer should have recognized the situation immediately and asked the guy to step back.

Maybe the cop should have told the loud mouth punk to calm down, take the ticket and move on. The only one creating a situation was the punk and his lame attempt at humour.

guy was reasonable to the cop, camera guy being a jerk (enjoy that $500 ticket). not saying you need to feel sorry that the guy driving was caught, he got his ticket that's enough.

but if someone stuck a camera in my face i'd tell him to shove it too. seems that is exactly the reaction the 'news reporter' is trying to get, what other reason is there to film people getting tickets.

The guy was asking for it when he said "oh and the ticket is five hundred dollars"

The camera guy was trying to start a situation, don't see why you are defending him.

I would think there is a law against this. Certainly the camera man was hindering the police officers work.
