Only a two touchdown loss for Gibraltar against France, maybe next time they can keep it to under 10.

Clumsy and risky from Cristante but I actually don't think there was much contact.

Mudryk falls to avoid the leg but don't think contact is actually made. Which is actually bad BY Mudryk because if he just plows right into the leg it's probably called a PK.

Drives me crazy when players do that. Don't avoid the contact and then try to draw the call. Just plow right through the leg, fall over, and then you'll get the call.

Edit: I've watched it more times than I care to admit now and that's probably 50/50 and surprised VAR didn't take a look. In the end I think Mudryk makes a heavy touch regardless, Cristante is stupid to leave his foot in, but Mudryk actually avoids the contact, and then embellishes to try to draw the foul. In the end if Mudryk doesn't jump/fall to try to avoid the contact, and just lets his trailing leg plow right into Cristante then it's probably easily called a penalty. With how the play actually plays out though I think the ref thought he dove, which he did, but he dove to avoid the contact.

Italy generally doesn't get calls in games like these in qualifying TBH. Honestly if it was the other way around I think most people would say "Italy dove here, shouldn't be a penalty"

It was also quite ridiculous that they were drawn with England and Ukraine to start with because somehow UEFA's ridiculous ranking had England 15th...and then you have groups like G, H, and I.

I have no problem with not awarding that.

only a friendly and they are obviously not very good, but still, beating Germany is a lot of fun.

South America...what a ride!

Its like: "Hey Argentina...you dont want to win today..."

"But we do tho..."

"YOU. DO NOT. WANT TO WIN. TODAY."

I still remember that Germany/Brazil WC match...I genuinely dont know what stopped that from becoming a full-on riot.

And Germany winning the World Cup in Brazil? If Argentina had won that most of Brazil would still be on fire.

They are very 'hot blooded' peoples.

High ticket prices and massive security. If you've been to a world cup, you're on your best behavior.

I have not, I've only ever been to a Champion's League Final match and I destroyed a French Soldier.
