Default Heat split against Rockford

Heat win 4-2 on Friday and lose tonight, 2-1. Attendance of 3478 and 3887. Scorers for the Heat were Cunning, Murray, Jaffray, Lundmark and tonight Backlund. Irving in goal for both games and the Heat's four game winning streak is kaput. Three star awards went to Lundmark, Murray, Seabrook and Irving.

I figured some of that rivalry with the icehogs would of carried over but I guess not.

I'm more interested in the Peoria games because those two teams hated eachother with a passion.

You'd think an Abbotsford fan would be posting some of these details and impressions and have the Grantham fights on youtube by now. I miss you guys's reports.

Yeah, Even if they stayed I wouldn't be able to do that since I moved half way across the country. What sucks even more is I cant find a job down here to save my life so as of now it doesn't look like I will be able to go to nashville to watch the flames play the preds.

Dont get me wrong I was pissed about the qc situation when it first came out but it wasn't sutter/calgarys fault. It was the qc owners. I'm a flames fan first and I wear my emotions on my sleve and you guys got the worst of it for awhile. I also do think it sucks with all the stuff that went on with sweeting talking about the high amount of STH's when they are having such a hard time with attendance right now. I can care less about QC area hockey now. I wish the best for the heat but I think they need to get them back in the east because the western thing just doesn't look as of now like a great move.

yeah, i am surprised there seems to be no actual heat fans that have joined the boards. i know it took me a bit to make my way here, but that was mostly because we had just moved here when the first qc season started, so joining hockey boards was pretty low on the priority list!
