Dickinson makes one of the worst decisions I have ever seen and costs his team the chance to tie it up. Crazy, crazy decision.

Meh, Maier throwing it to a Rider who didn't move since before the snap is just as much to blame there.

Stevens getting one yard wasn't going to win the game either.
Dickenson kept the same play in for 3 and 1 as it was going to be for 3rd and 6.

Hardly cost the game. Dinglenuts roughing the kicker and allowing Sask to get a field goal and bleed another 2 mins off the clock can share some blame too.

Wow. I can’t believe Dave’s play calling with the season on the line. I would be ballistic if I was an owner. Borderline pink slip play calling.

Yea, it was a dumb throw, but we pretty much have a guaranteed 1st down with Stevens in the game. Blame Maier for throw, but the call is all on Dickenson.

If we don't have a QB who can't recognize a stationary defender on a crossing route, there's a good chance he wasn't going to go another 89 yards nor get the convert in that next 70 seconds.

The call wasn't great but neither was the execution of a simple crossing route or, running into the kicker. All equally bad, and Dickenson has control over one of those 3 situations.

Why go with the same play? This is not the NFL, thats lots of time.
I agree, awful throw by Maier, but the fault is on Dickeson for not getting a quick first down.

From a guy who was cut after putting up great numbers in Ottawa.

Did he if locker room issues, coaching issues?

How did the Riders get him for basically free this late in the season...?

But why? You have to be pretty big moron to not realize that 3rd and 1 isn't 3rd and 6?

Also on the 2 point convert Dickey blew that too. After the penalty he should have put in Stevens.

The only conclusion. Dickey HATES Stevens!

Dickenson seemingly deflecting the blame on that play call to to the roughing the kicker penalty as to what cost them the game from what I heard there.
