The All-NBA team selections are good, but maybe not good enough. To me it's not just the lack of rings, it's that he only had one conference finals appearance (which ended in a four-game sweep at the hands of the absolute buzz-saw that was the 2017 Warriors), despite spending most of his career playing with good players. His team that he left basically carried on without him fine and had their best recent playoff run a couple years after he left. We'll see how his legacy ages. I don't see Portland fondly remembering him based on how he left, and for San Antonio he had the impossible task of following Tim Duncan. If nobody is championing him, I'm not sure he has the resume to make it.

Watching Boucher and Dort going at it right now is awesome; two Canadians (both Montrealers) with 17 and 21 points in the same quarter, just going shot for shot with one another. Add in Birch, at one point I think Montreal was outscoring all other players 41 to 6.

Among the most ridiculous stats of all time is this - other than Klay Thompson, in the history of the NBA, no one else besides Steph Curry has had more than three games in their career with 10+ made 3 pointers.

Steph has four such games... this week.

Imagining finishing first or second in the western conference and your reward is a first-round matchup against Steph Curry possibly playing the best ball of his career.

Gillespie has been a nice surprise, another guy who seems like a great fit for the Raptors team culture

Boucher suffered a sprained MCL, and right now there's no timetable for his return. However, a typical sprained MCL will be 1 week to a month, so it's possible that they rest him for the rest of the regular season at least, especially now with Gillespie and Birch in the fold.

Can Steph go play baseball or something? He's clearly already beaten the game of basketball... just casually setting the record for most threes in a calendar month from 36 feet away and in 1.7 seconds from the inbounds at the baseline.

Yeah, kinda sad to see, honestly. For context, Love was banged into a few times including on the previous play and felt like he deserved a call (but IMO it was extremely minor by typical NBA standards), but this is just such an unprofessional response, especially from a well-paid vet who should be a leader.

Really strange situation in Indiana right now. Multiple media reports in the last couple days suggesting that things are falling apart internally under Bjorkgren, with everyone from players to other assistant coaches complaining about him off-the-record. Then last night one of the players mouths-off to an assistant, the assistant gets into a yelling fit during a time out. Relevant to the Raptors not only because Bjorkgren was a respected and liked assistant during his time here, but also Indiana is in freefall in the standings and in danger of missing the play-in, with the Raptors positioned as the team that could catch them, and Indiana and Toronto playing on the last game of the season.

Indiana only needs a couple wins to clinch a play-in spot, but it's a drama to keep an eye on through these last few games.

Big shot by Fred to tie it! Overtime in a must-win game, been a fun one to watch.

So that probably does it for any chance of making the play-in, with 538 dropping the Raptors odds from about 5% to less than 1% after the Pacers win and Toronto loss. If that's the case, it's been an entertaining season nonetheless, and I'm really excited about the a potential top-10 draft selection.

It's a deep draft so as much as I advocated tanking I also very much trust Masai to find us a star in the 8-10 range. I mean when you look at the current landscape of the NBA, the likely MVP was drafted at 41, the two time reigning MVP was drafted at 15, the guy who helped the Raps win the title at 15, Donovan Mitchell and Devin Booker at the end of the lottery...just gotta believe in Masai.

Also, how tickled pink is the league about a possible Lakers-Warriors play in game?

The Steph Curry Warriors playing the role of David is something I never thought I'd see.
