Thanks to Keith for coming out and fixing issues we had since we moved in and cleaning our system. Great service and an even better guy. Thanks again!

Are there still any substantial rebates or tax credits available from the government for new AC or furnace installations? Is it worth doing any kind of audit for this?

Hey EVERLAST, thanks for all your posts here.
Just wanted to ask you more about filters. If those high MPR filters cause issues for furnaces, should they be used at any time then? I've been using them for years, so I hope I haven't caused any damage to my furnace.

Do fiberglass filters work just as well as those then? And how often should I change out fiberglass filters? (now that I'm going to start using them)

Thanks!

Hi....fiberglass filters work best. Thicker and higher merv rated filters , 3m filters , Kirkland filters , woven and pleated filters damage ALL thr temperature sensitive components on furnaces over time causing expensive repairs .

Now....thr common argument is fiberglass won't filter the same as the others . Yes that's true but IF your vents and ducts and furnace have never been cleaned, inspected, tuned up and performance evaluated then you have bigger problems.
Vents and ducts should be cleaned every 2 years for maximum efficiency, lower utility bills and better mental health.

If you need proper service let's set something up appointment wise.

Having issues with a mildew smell coming from my vents. It started when I was running my furnace fan so it isn't AC related. Evaporator coil and drip pan looked clean. Any thoughts?
