If you go to Green Man Gaming you can get it for an additional 20% off by applying the voucher code GMG20-F202F-UI40F. You get a Steam code anyways so you may as well save a few more bucks.

I'll gladly take any cards you have off your hands

Is anyone interested in trading cards? I've got a few spare FTL cards (Zoltan Cruiser & Slug Cruiser) that I'm willing to trade 1:1.

I could be wrong (in fact let's say I am wrong) but this is the first time I have seen Steam have the Borderlands 2 season pass on sale (33% off) and that game came out several months ago. Would love to see that discount come down even further actually.

This is nowhere near as fun as when the sales came with in-game acheivements that gave you prizes that had some actual value (particularly free games).
People were gaming the system and using multiple accounts or something to get hordes of free games. At least that's what I kind of remember reading about with the Holiday sale (the only one that did that, btw).

Yeah, I know there were problems with it, but I wish their solution to those problems wasn't to just give up.

It wasn't just the holiday sale though. One of the summer sale prizes one year was Alien Breed 2 (not the best game, but still a game!) and the Golden Potato gave you the Valve Complete Pack.

Does that apply to flash sales as well?
Also, what's the lowest that people have seen for Civ V Gold edition?

Yes, Flash sales will generally mirror the price that the game gets during a daily deal. I think the lowest I've ever seen the Civ V Gold Edition is 75% off. Don't count on the newest expansion having any sort of discount.

Unfortunately GMG decided to pull the voucher early despite supposedly lasting until July 15th. Missed out on this while in class.

Anduril, PM me and I'll gift you Civ V. It's not the Gold edition but you can upgrade for $10.

Managed to not buy anything yesterday. Go me! I was very tempted on Skryim but I don't have the time to invest in that game yet.

I only bought CS:GO, but in keeping with my own 1-2 years behind purchasing strategy, I'll probably be looking at getting either Skyrim or Bioshock:Infinite by the end of the sale.

Thankfully have managed to keep the urges to purchase at bay so far. Some tempting stuff, though. Been looking at the Civ stuff, thinking about giving that a try.

I bought Bioshock Infinity (I'm impressed so far but the controls are brutal) and I'm thinking of getting one or two more games.

Hoping FFVII goes on sale.

I caved and got Brave New World for CiV. It really seems like they made an effort with it so I'm going to try it out.
