Well Fernandinho's value has never been higher, he should definitely be looking for a raise. Bernardo Silva was also everywhere tonight. Liverpool were just too conservative with Henderson and Milner, and yeah if the ball goes 13mm more maybe it's a totally different game. Liverpool shouldn't feel too bad, they didn't play great and City still needed two great individual goals to win. Liverpool just gotta focus on their games and they should be fine.

Outside of 22 red cards and both teams disqualified for the rest of the season that was probably the best result we could get.
Keeps the title race going for at least a little bit longer.

looks like Aaron Ramsey is going to sign with Juventus on a free transfer in the summer. Interesting move for sure.

Glad Liverpool lost because it means they’re vincible.
Now they can go on and win every game for all I care.

Oh yes the required reference to the Invincible* 03-04 Arsenal Team
*Except for the fact they lost in the FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield, and the biggest knock on their "Invincible" claim - didn't make it out of the Champions League Quarter Finals.

That was a helluva game, relentless energy from both sides. Difference in the game is Sane goes post and in, Mane goes post and out.

Well this should help Liverpool fans get over last night, somehow they've sold Solanke to Bournemouth for £19 million. Also loaning Clyne out there too, which given their depth seems a bit strange. Someone else incoming?

Lol, Liverpool fans getting over something? Surely you're joking!
It's bizarre because I know a number of Liverpool fans around Calgary and in all honesty, they're really good guys. Then I see Liverpool fans "at large" and they're just unbearable. I mean honestly, there were petitions floating around after they lost the CL final, and again after the loss yesterday we see more petitions to get a "proper goal line technology" or whatever. It's just so pathetic. I do get it...you might have just lost the league (to Spurs!) by about a centimeter. It's crushing. But really a petition? Who are these people?

Brahim Diaz has left Manchester City for Real Madrid in a deal worth up to £22million. And the contract which has taken him to Real Madrid, for an initial fee of £15.5million, has a clause designed to ensure he does not end up joining Manchester United!
Pep Guardiola tried to persuade the youngster to stay, but City will get £15.5million up front and as much as £6.5million in add-ons, for a player who is believed to have cost them around £350,000 from Malaga.
City will also get 15 per cent of any fee Madrid get from selling him on, with one incredible exception. If the Spanish giants decide to sell to “another Manchester club”, that sell-on percentage rises to 40 per cent, making it almost impossible for the talented youngster to end up at Old Trafford.

That's a pretty funny clause actually. But what's funnier is he's leaving Man City because of no games to head to Real Madrid where he will get....no games. At least the bench is warmer I suppose.

The odds of Rotherham beating City 1-0 were 125/1. The odds of City beating Rotherham 9-0 were 80/1. Once again, don't ever doubt the bookies.

Those are interesting odds, but the big story today was Oldham beating Fulham. I know it’s Fulham and they’ve struggled in the PL, but that’s still a huge upset!

Ah yes! The great 'Ham Derby.'
Old and Full as Ham itself!

Okay....I know that I've said that nobody cares about the FA cup and Liverpool's current lineup seems to exemplify that.
Klopp has substituted Dejan Lovren for a player named 'Whoever.'

I guess Lovren was injured at the 2 minute mark. I didn’t see it and don’t know the severity.
I sure hope that we aren’t seeing Liverpool fold after being the halfway there champions though, that would be a shame.

I am guessing that they are going to need to buy a CB in this window.
Reports regarding Lovren are a Hamstring injury and Gomez and Matip are also out injured. Today Fabinho was playing CB alongside Whoever.
It sucks because when healthy I think the CB position at Liverpool is deep, but with Gomez, Matip and now Lovren injured we're going to need coverage.
