Hey Blake; Wheel your way to Montreal
The Pittsburgh Penguins made a trade with the Habs further indicating their position as seller heading into the deadline.
The Pens sent star winger Blake Wheeler and defenseman Matt Benning to the Habs in exchange for prospects Morgan Frost, Alexander Romanov and a 2019 1st and star forward Byron Froese.
The Pens have been playing better lately and Wheeler was injured and held out if the lineup upon his return from the IR in order to facilitate the trade.
All Pittsburgh's moves for the remainder of this season will be with the future in mind. Hopefully Wheeler works out in Montreal and contributes to a playoff run.
