Default WJC Semifinals: USA vs RUS. FIN vs SUI.

Perhaps not as interesting with Canada eliminated and all Flames prospects done, but it is still good high quality hockey.

USA vs Russia. 2pm MT. TSN 1,3,4,5
Easily the match of the day. High probability that the winner of this game will go on to win the whole tournament. Russia is a pretty fun to watch. USA has some high level skill through the lineup.

Finland vs Switzerland. 5:30pm MT. TSN 1,4,5
Both teams coming off highs eliminating medal contenders. Finland should have the edge on paper, but they really haven't played up to their potential in this tournament so far, something the Swiss can take advantage of.

Kazakhstan up 2-0 after 1 period of Game 2.
Danes in trouble.

I know these players are just "kids", but my goodness has player culture changed in the last decade or so.

What I mean by that is the emotional outbursts and general BS that players have no trouble showing. Throwing your medal into the crowd, slamming your stick on the ice like a child, breaking your equipment...temper tantrum type stuff. These are things I was taught not to do in Atom level hockey, and players do it with more and more frequency at much higher levels.

It's jarring and disappointing.

Because people keep giving them excuses as they are just kids.

Wow the Russian captain is having none of this post game celebration.

Accepted his watch for top 3 Russian players. Immediately put it on the Russian bench. Didn't take a group picture with the other 2 Russian players, then the camera zoomed in on him as he skated back to the blue line with the rest of the Russians and he gave a very clear "#### you" to the Vancouver crowd

Very poorly managed ending from the Russians. Top line gassed and couldn't get back on the ice and pulled the goalie way too late.

The Russians' tourney ended with a whimper.
