Hell Treliving should have signed Iggy for a year instead of Neal, bet he'd have more than 4 goals so far

God I miss him. I know how unrealistic this is, but I daydream that we sign him before the Trade Deadline, and he is our final motivating clincher for our run to winning the cup.

sigh

I actually was thinking that the other day too when I considered that we could meet Tampa Bay in the finals again. I can’t imagine anyone would be as much of a force, even at his age, as Iginla would be in one final attempt to win the Cup against the team they should’ve beat 15 years ago. Would be quite the story!

He looked lean. He’s lost a lot of weight in retirement. Lots of guys seem to go the other way.

Maybe he'll pull a Mr. Underwood and come out of retirement.

#### I miss that man.

As fun as Johnny is to watch, and no matter how good Monahan, Lindholm get, they'll never be Iggy.

What a gift it was to have him play for us for so long. Hope he joins the Flames in some capacity. Reunited with Conroy.

I really don't like watch interviews but I would tune in any day to watch him talk. Constant genuine smile.

Guy still looks lean and in great shape. He'll always be one of my all time favourite players. Love how well spoken, friendly, and down to earth he is in all his interviews. We miss you Iggy!

OT:, wanted to say I think Ryan Leslie does really good work for the Flames, and we're lucky to have him. He's a natural interviewer, and comes off very friendly and professional. Just the contrast between him and Gene Principe is striking.

Iggy is a guy that just lights up the room.

Nice to see that he is doing well..

which reminds me: wasn't there supposed to be a ceremony for him at the dome sometime this year? I haven't heard anything on that since it was first mentioned

There's no way Iggy would have shot wide on a 2 on 0.

I really wish we signed iggy to a 1 year deal. He would have known his place and provided experience and leadership. How awesome would it be to have iggy on the second PP right now? The guy obviously lost a step but his shot is still deadly.

####ty decision by the organization.

That's a Mets hat, which makes me like him even more.
