It looked like Ryan got promoted, and then Bennett got benched along with Dube and Hathaway for the most part I the 3rd.
Peters definitely isn’t shy when it comes to shortening his bench when he thinks he needs to.

I love how this game just felt like a routine mid-season win. A game the Flames should win, so they just found a way to do it. Haven't seen a lot of that the last decade or so. Also Smith with a decent game, just as needed.

I was so mad after the penalty shot call and goal, but we won anyway, so my rage is subsiding.
Holy hell was Gaudreau ever amazing tonight.
Nice to see Smith get the win. No real fault on any of the goals tonight, so that was nice to see.
What happened to Bennett? I didn’t see him for the last period and a half. Hurt or was he benched?

Not sure but he wasn't playing well, Bill takes his best 9 guys and gives then all the ice down the stretch

Good, solid game by Smith. Wouldn't feel too bad about him starting tomorrow in Boston.
But man that penalty shot was one of the weakest awarded I've ever seen. Nice to see the boys not get discouraged and get the W.
