Looking forward, this month provides a really good chance to make hay for the good guys.

3 teams currently in a playoff spot.

This club can really do themselves a big favor if they win the games they should.

Anything short of 15 points would be disappointing against that schedule.

I personally would like to see Dube play the entire season in the AHL. Dunno how much he's gonna learn playing under 10minutes a game at the NHL level. Didn't notice him too much in the SJS game other than him getting hit 3 times in the same shift.

With Peter's going with Dube-Ryan-Hathaway as the 4th line, I just feel that line cant have two smallish players. Tre needs to go after someone bigger who is strong down low for that line.

Almost forgot, the ahl scrub had jumped Kulak, after a big hit on one of the wings players.
What an infuriating game that was. Totally forgot about the Tkachuk suspension for the love tap. While I had no problem with that suspension since it was a dumb move, F the league for completely ignoring Mantha's MMA impression on the player's bench on a defenseless player.

Flames seem to be a bit of a fiesty team lately. Nice to see some team toughness after years of getting pushed around. I just hope Bennett catches Mantha with his head down, then beats the ass of whomever tried to fight him!

Forgot about that stinky game.
Another gem from the officials and DOPS IMO

Witkowski rag-dolling Kulak after the fight and then
Witkowski coming back onto the ice
Mantha feeding Hamonic on the ground with the ref abundantly aware

Red Wings 5 on 3 and Tkachuk suspended.

Flames are 4-4-2 in their last 10 trips to the Joe/new building, scoring 31 while surrendering 35 including 8 in their last visit.

This will be the organizations 87th time in Detroit and the good guys have only 28 wins to show for their efforts.

I won't lie, my fists will clench, my eyes will close, and my butt will pucker up tighter than a snare drum every time the Wings put a shot on Smith. I hope he plays well, the frog and I will be watching. GFG

These always get me anxious. Should be easy wins for the team but they need to show they don't play down to their opponents.

If Flames get average NHL goaltending from Smith they will win. If they get .889 save percentage Smith they will lose unless they can outscore bad goaltending which they have shown they are able to do a number of times this year.

I should have just grabbed tickets, but after being there last year for the 8-2 drubbing and it being right after Christmas I decided against it.
I have mastered the PVR discipline. My phone goes away during the game and I will settle down to watch the game around 7:30-8. I work until 5 and have a toddler at home so 7:30-8 is about as early as I could watch a game.

Love being able to fast forward the commercials and intermission. It gets tough if the game is not close but I am typically able to maintain and watch the whole game spoiler free. If I wasn’t able to do it this way I would probably miss half the games

Could be another night where we’re spoiled with a Flames win and an Oilers loss.

There should be a word for that.
