And Anders is putting the boots to the Canucks play off hopes with this sneak attack. My gawd -- waitaminutewaitaminute... THAT'S DEMKO'S MUSIC!
For the record, Anders nillsson is an amazing human being but an ahl Calibre goalie. Every player in this deal is ahl level.

Pyatt was already waived yesterday. McKenna is an AHL netminder. Archibald is an AHL forward. Nilsson is a backup who's UFA at year's end, so it's not like VAN were clearing cap (they have plenty). So basically it appears to be a rental of Nilsson for a 6th round pick. In other words, a nothing trade.

Guess the Canucks are bringing up Thatcher Demko. Better to get a 6th and shuffle AHL bodies than lose Nilsson on waivers, I guess.

Tom Pyatt is horrible and should not be in the NHL but I'd say Rinaldo and McLeod are even worse. Oh and there's Luke Witkowski too, also worse than Pyatt.

Bingo! As they mentioned on Sportsnet, the only winners here are the moving companies. The Nucks need to get Demko playing NHL games, Ottawa needs a stop-gap goalie. Not much else to say.
