News coming in from Flames practice in St. Louis

Looks like a 3rd goalie has joined the Flames practice

There is an imposter in net at #Flames practice! Not sure who this is...but it’s not Mike Smith or David Rittich, who are both on the ice.

I have been dreading secondary impact concussion symptoms for Dube since that hit from Gudbranson.

I have to say: after three games it is pretty great to see players come in and out of the lineup, moved up and down in practices, and to feel really good about the lines.

I like this, even without Dube.

3rd goalie is likely just for fun, someone linked to the team that isn't a pro goalie of any sort.

Hopefully Dube is alright!

Maybe after the Flames heard about Elliott complaining about the bruising with the new equipment, they convinced Eric Francis to put the pads on. Now they're just gonna pepper him with non-stop slap shots.

I assume this means a 3rd goalie was used to limit Smith's ice time at practice

Mystery solved! #Flames used a third goalie to manage Mike Smith’s TOI. Bill Peters told us he hasn’t decided who’ll start vs. #Blues tomorrow. My guess? Smith.

That doesnt seem like a common practice, why are they doing this now?
