I've now been accessing the FOI forum by jumping into threads using the Timeline view in Tapatalk instead of going directly into the FOI forum when on my phone.

FWIW - this problem occurs to me way more often on my Ipad than on my android phone - which would lead me to believe its somewhat on their end with their iOS app having issues compared to the Android app.

Having this problem as well. Never loads. Have to go in through the trending section to try and find threads. iOS.

I sent a post as a "Report this Post" to moderators a couple days back to bring this issue to light again, as this is happening to me again on Tapatalk on iPhone. Anyone else? Any tips to avoid the lack of loading of the Main Fire-on-Ice forum?

Same thing happening again on my samsung phone. Main fire on ice page won't load on tapatalk but all the other pages load just fine.

It's been a few days for me.

We've got the latest plugin from them, they haven't updated it in years. I suspect it just has to do with the size of the FoI forum (i.e. number of threads) and their queries being inefficient.

I may try moving some really old threads into an archive subforum and see if that helps.

Other than log into their site config tool to see if there was an update...

I am still just having it take a good minute to try and load; and then just shows the sticky threads.

I see a tool that I can flag threads older than a certain age and move them to a different subforum.. so should be easy to do, I'm just afraid to pick some date and go and it ends up taking 14 hours.

I'll probably take the forum offline and try moving a 20 threads, see how long that takes and go from there.. scale it up so I can move a bunch of threads out of FoI within a reasonable amount of time and if it will have to be done over a bunch of sessions over a bunch of days so be it.
