United scored twice inside the first 10 minutes, then Arsenal made a change and pretty much run riot for the most part. United were pinned inside their own half for most of the game, but were dangerous on the counter. Arsenal had a ton of chances, but De Gea was simply ridiculous all game.

It's crazy to think where United would be without De Gea. That man has won them a significant amount of points over the last few seasons.

14 saves today, which is a PL record.

Contract talks are coming up. They better hand him a blank cheque.

I just assumed it was a standard 'Mourinho Bus-Park.'

A glance at the table is pretty interesting right now. For all the talk about parity in England, outside of the top 6 there is only 1 team with a positive goal differential.

Its going to be an interesting month. Honestly, I'm surprised Liverpool are even still in touching distance of the Top 4 after some of the terrible results we've had, but thats encouraging.

Whats not encouraging is losing Matip for a month during the most congested part of the schedule. December, especially over Christmas has been the bane of our existence for years.

I hate seeing Can at CB. Klopp is going to have to pull a rabbit out of his hat a few times in December and hopefully has a plan for some strengthening purchases once the window opens.

I don't think We'll see Can there very much. Klavan and Gomez were both out with illness today, but should be back soon. Hopefully Gomez gets a run at CB, Klavan is simply not good enough.

I dont know what Klopp expected of Klavan, but yeah, he gets beaten a lot.

This team is going to need a miracle to stay in the Top 4 over the Christmas schedule.

It won't take a miracle, it'll just take our attack keeping up their level of play. I'm sure there will be some dropped points in there, but if they can play anywhere near how they've played in recent weeks then we should come out ok. Of course if the goals dry up at all It could get ugly.

You are much more optimistic than I. I just want to get to January so they can buy some help or at least muddle through until we get healthy.

I love the Christmas season because I'm a fan and I like to watch games, I hate the Christmas season because we do have a tendency to play those games poorly.

I'm definitely optimistic with this team. And it's not that they are amazing right now, I just think the problems are obvious and not the most difficult to fix.

If we can sign the right keeper, a CB, and a defensive mid then this could be a very good side. That likely won't happen all in one or even two windows, but I like the direction right now.

Surely West Ham will help my mood after the Flames' performance tonight.

Is Moyes finally going to be of use to United?

That's easily West Ham's best half of the season. It was a joy to watch. 45+ minutes to go, but that was great!

meh, I refuse to get my hopes up. They'll tie it up quickly and then comes the inevitable Sterling winner in stoppage time.

Silva instead of Sterling this time. That was a brilliant finish though.

Well, the dam burst. I expected a total blowout, so I'm actually still pretty happy. If West Ham can keep playing with the level of effort they have today, they'll avoid finishing in the bottom three.

I'd actually prefer City trashing other teams over those late winners. Those smug bastards always find a way late in games, it honestly pisses me off.
