Gonna be a long season if they can't get this offense going. Only four games and all, but averaging under 100 points a game in 2023 NBA is quite bad.

Barnes is looking alright though. He's the only player I can see as building around depending how his season is this year. It really is a make or break for him as his career can go either way based on his success or failure this year. If there's a limited amount of time you can allot to anyone, they better be going on all in on Barnes. Combine him with a lottery pick and perhaps there is something in the future. Without him a rebuild becomes much more difficult.

I also believe in the critique against this team via Patrick Beverley more recently. There is nobody on this team who is scary who you would be afraid of meeting in an alleyway. I really wanna see more dirty bite from them.

Interesting choice by LA. They have a defensively responsible guy in Kawhi, and are bringing in a half assed guy in Harden. Could work out if Kawhi has any influence on him, but I doubt it. The big winner in this are the local peelers.

Might be the only guy who can get his shot off over Wemby, wild picture though.

I give the Raps credit for bringing the effort in early this season, but I think with certain teams who don't have enough talent, or the right mix of talent, the early success gives management a false sense of hope. As the season goes on, I can't see this enthusiasm keeping up as it is hard to push so hard game after game.

When Barnes is knocking down 3s he is a very, very good player. That was a nice win after a few disappointing games in a row.

If he can physically develop like Giannis in terms of adding muscle they might need to ban him from the league it's gonna be so unfair.

I just read about the in-season tournament. Total rubbish. Apparently the league TV deal is expiring, with some declining numbers in recent years and this is an effort to get more attention to sign a better deal. To me, just doesn't have any authenticity to it.

I hope that Bucks game showed people why you don’t trade a lot for Lillard. Just a total no show on defence. Jrue is just a better player than Lillard. Defense matters and Lillard doesn’t play that.
