Man. Monahan needs to watch the tape of his game tonight. Looked pretty brutal, probably his worst game played all season. He needs to pick it up with the playoffs approaching.

Tkachuk will be fine. Not hard enough of a slash to break anything, but enough fir a nice bruise and stinger.
But its still BS. Considering what happened to Smith, if there were more minutes in the game Markstrom would have had a bad time.
I effing hate stick work. But its going to happen.
I would have liked to see more of a response to the Edler hit on Smith. Though Smith can handle himself, probably more so than any goalie in the league.

Sure but don't deny the fact that he did a Luongo. Kinda embarrassing.

Are you arguing he didn’t get hit from behind? Like who cares if he sold it a bit.

I am worried that the top line wont be able to produce in tight playoff games.
Mike Smith was good.

Do you even read? Who was denying? ALL goalies flop a first feel of contact. Thats a fact. All goalies do is dive. Fact.

Virtanen absolutely blew it lol
Hrudey "I wouldn't want to be Virtanen heading back into that dressing room. Especially after that play that happened right in front of the bench"

Was still hit from behind, not as big a dive as you're trying to sell. As for you being embarrassed? You've got pretty thin skin, then.

I was pleased to see Neal not looking too bad out there was.expecting much rust, bodies well for him being in good form for the start of playoffs. Also plenty of time for first line to shake loose the funk.
4th line, what can you say except what's not to like!?
Great game all around going into the final stretch.

Monahan was awful. If it’s laziness- it’s not okay. If it’s an injury- he shouldn’t be playing.
Either way it’s annoying.

I think that is pretty standard come playoffs. Not that the top line won't score, but scoring in general goes down. It's all about team depth and capitalizing on the odd opportunities you get. I like our chances with the top line. They will find a way
