Dube with 2 goals already tonight. Still 2nd period.

Looks like he's also added a primary assist. First star of the game. 10g 14 assists 67 shots 153 face off wins (out of 300) in 18 games. Not too bad. also dominated the whl-Russia series. excited to see him at the wjc this year

Dube highlights from his last 2 games where he scored 4 nice goals (didn't realize how deadly his wristshot is). Apparently his nickname is the Golden Jet from the play-by-play haha.
Final score was 7-3. Phillips ended with 2G, 1A, +3 and 1st star.
Valimaki had 2A.
Zach Fischer had 2G and 1A tonight in a 7-0 Spokane win, nice to see.
edit: Fischer was also first star.

He has Phillips making the team over Owen Tippet which is interesting. Some would say Tippet's pedigree and the fact he stuck around for 7 games with the Panthers would give him an edge.

I went to watch Ruzicka today. Sting won 5-4, Ruzicka got a tip in today and was on the ice for the first 2 PP as well. I watched him, he was kinda useless out there. He didn't really do much, looked like he was bored. Which is odd considering he was standing on the bench the entire time. But when he did try, he was good. That one shift he had, he drew a penalty. Other then that, he looked out of place and not in the game.
Joly is having a good stretch of games. 7g 5a in the last 10 games. If you go by pts/game he is 2nd on the team.

Sarnia lost to North Bay 3-2, nothing for Ruzicka-he's on a slide lately, tied now for 11th in league scoring with 34pts in 27g.
Chicoutimi beat Baie-Comeau 4-0, obviously no pts for Joly.
Medicine Hat beat the Royals 4-3, nothing for Phillips. Interestingly enough, Mark Rassell was 1st star-he was an invite to this year's camp. 19th in the league with 35pts in 26g, including 25goals.
Kelowna beat the Chiefs 4-2, Dube was second star with a goal and an assist. Fischer had a goal.
Swift Current beats Moose Jaw 7-6, Gawdin was 3rd star with 2 goals and 2 assists, which gives him one point more on the night than his linemates Steenbergen and Heponiemi. 52pts in 26g
Valimaki is still injured.
