Apparently he didn't know this album was being made. His longtime manager put it together for him as a surprise birthday present for his 50th.

I don’t know what it is, maybe to align with touring schedules and festival circuits, but spring into summer just feels like such a wealth of new, great music every year. So far so good for 2025!
