Default Buying Beer League Jerseys

Hey guys,

I've got a group of guys who want to start a hockey team who have never really played much aside from ODR. The NCHL seems to cater to this kind of thing so we're going to try to get things rolling but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with buying/ordering jerseys for a full team. We need a full set of home/away jerseys and I imagine this can get quite expensive so can anyone give me a recommendation for the best/most affordable way of doing this? Thanks!

Not a lot to be found in terms of pricing on that site. There's a dead link within the website as well where I would expect pricing to be.

My only suggestion after spending several years in Sports retail is go direct through a manufacturer, avoid the retail side.
Depending on price point, there are options:
http://kobesportswear.com/
https://www.athleticknit.com/
http://www.k1hockey.com/
http://www.ccmcustomjerseys.com/

I'd also figure out the team plans. Is this a group of guys that will stay together, as a team for years to come, or do you expect to have a lot of turnover, with guys leaving and new guys joining. This will play a big role in deciding the style you go with.

If you feel like there will be a lot of turnover, I'd suggest going with a cheaper model jersey, with no re-order restrictions. If you plan on staying together for a while, go all out, and do a custom sublimation with personalizations and all the bells and whistles.

Just sent you a PM. There are many options that you can do for your team. Have helped many people on this site in the last 10 plus years.

Nothing to add except to say that you need to ensure that at least one of the jerseys has the number 69 on it. Because that's classy.

I bought team jerseys from Silverback here in town a few years ago. Decent quality jerseys but customer service and communication was terrible. They also did not meet their timeline. They charge extra if you want to pay with credit card and never ever answer the phone.

When we wanted a few more jerseys due to team turnover the next year, they weren't interested in my order as it wasn't big enough.

I'd stay far away from them.

Our league uses Keener Jerseys out of Winnipeg. Never had a problem with them at all. Great communication and a great product.

I'll plug Josh and North Star Jerseys again. Worth at least an email and getting a quote from him. Does all jerseys (not just pro customization) and if you check out his Instagram, the quality is there:

While pro customization is our specialty, we do a lot of custom team jerseys. You'd be happy with the work!

Apologies for the dead link, thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Feel free to contact me via email (josh@northstarjerseys.com) if you're looking for a quote or have any questions!

Yep, I should of mentioned that Josh at North Star did my teams jerseys when the other supplier didn't want our business.

Great quality work and good prices!

We used Big Stick out of Ontario for our team.

They are solid. reasonably prices (about 120 or so for jerseys and socks?). shipped fast as we ordered during the season.

i sure am... but all we do is embroidery - which can get pricey in a hurry

the op sounds to me like he's looking for a lower end jersey with something like screen printing or a heat transfer (especially since he needs both a home and an away set).
