Still no word on who is coming out of the line up from last night eh?
Seems odd.

For anyone watching the game with Shaw, do you know which channel it's on ? I can't find it at all and Sportsnet one and 360 both showing the Jets game

That's what i would do too. I thought Kylington was great in his last game and didn't like him coming out for Stone. Janko has been awful all season so far including the preseason. When i watch him he doesn't move his feet he is constantly standing still. Its a shame cause i was once very very high on him despite the criticism of the pick. I actually thought he had the skills to become a Joe Thornton light but clearly at this point he is on more of a Joe Colbourn path and it would not surprise me if he was out of the league in a few years. Has all the physical tools but is soft as butter and doesn't use his size at all. He looks scared out there. I agree with other posters that he seemed to play his best with line mates like Hathaway who push the pace and play with some belligerence, speed , and sandpaper. Maybe try him with Tkachuk and see if he can light afire under him and drag him into the fight.

The Flames game is the second in a double-header, after the Jets game.

Will be interesting to see Talbot in his first game and also how the team plays in front of him. Good challenge tonight, lineup changes in the cards, let’s see what they do.

Hahaha oh wow. I totally messed up reading the time the game was on. Thanks. Spent my entire day planning to be free at 5 to watch the game.

A statement win tonight and the trip is a success.
A lousy loss and our window is starting to crack.

Not seeing #Flames C Mark Jankowski or D Michael Stone on ice for warmup in San Jose. Likely scratched.

so we probably see Bennett at centre
my guess:
13 - 23 - 28
19 - 11 - 88
17 - 10 - 27
16 - 93 - 67

So Bennett in the middle between Lucic and Mangiapane?

Makes sense. Means we see what the coaches have seen from Janko and Stone. Nice to see Kylington in. Czarniks worked well with Bennett before. Maybe having him at center on that line solves a problem?

Lucic, Bennett, and Czarnik are the Flames' three most consistently underwhelming forwards
Putting them all on a line together is a bold strategy

They were re united in the 2nd period last night. Mangipane didnt do too much with his bump up. I mean I suppose it's good to know that if they try some thing's that you have something to fall back on that's been reliable for the most part for 3 seasons.
But the main point is trying to find an upgrade at the #2rw slot. Nothing has really materialized in a couple games .

Would like to see Hanifin and Hamonic split up. Put Andersson in Hamonic's spot.

I doubt it is permanent, but after a rough outing it makes sense for Peters to aleviate the pressure on his young players. I would bet that Mangiapane works his way back onto the Backlund line during the upcoming home stand.
