Hall chose his team for the most part. I think Boston knew that. But I agree.

I really liked Hathaway as a Flame. Glad he got paid, but damn could we have used some of his 'truculence' this year

This is super weird. I'm watching the NESN feed and I want the Bruins to win. I think this is the first time I've listened to a Jack Edwards broadcast with a rooting interest FOR the Bruins. It does, in fact, make him an even better listen.

Marchand almost killed Hathaway by ducking out of the way of the hit, causing Hathaway to go headfirst into the boards. Could have been really ugly.

Did Samsonov lose where that puck went or was it just miscommunication with Schultz?

I'm no Marchand apologist and I understand that 'low bridge' hits are a penalty...but thats not what that was and I dont see that Marchand did anything wrong there.

He isnt obligated to take a hit for Hathaway's safety.

About 30 seconds after Hathaway low-bridged marchand in front of the net...

I'm surprised Samsonov seems to be getting more heat than Schultz. They were equally sloppy IMO. Samsonov should've either played it or hustled back into the net...he was half pregnant. I'm not really sure where Schultz was going...

Yep. I'm a Marchand fan and Hathaway fan. Marchand did nothing wrong. Hathaway needs to know that Marchands sees all. He might even lick you.

I find the very homerish Jack Edwards and his sidekick Andy Brickley (“Brick”) very entertaining too. The Bruins have never taken a penalty Edwards considers justified.

Did he punch him in the jaw? Not sure from the replay why Miller was so stunned?

Orlov with a major penalty? It didn’t look like that bad a hit to me. Not at the head.
