Disney has announced that all of the Marvel series that were originally produced for Netflix (Daredevil, Punisher, etc.) will all be available in full on Disney+ starting March 16.

Watched Encanto over the weekend with the family. It was an enjoyable movie. My wife loved it and has watched it again since. I will admit a few of the songs were pretty catchy...

Pam and Tommy is interesting. They portray Tommy as a total psycho. His penis features way more than I anticipated, even considering I knew it was about their sex tape.

Disney+ really went ham on crossing into non-kid-friendly movies eh?

So pretty accurately then. That band was a total mess outside of maybe Mars who was a relatively low key boozer with a painkiller addiction.

Our Dogs name is Luna, she's a Siberian Husky, and she's borderline crazy in that she's the most jealous possessive dog I've ever owned...Everyday I find myself singing... "We don't talk about Luna".

I had that stupid surface pressure stuck in my head all day because the kids were listening to it. Lin Manuel Miranda is pretty freaking talented.

my seven year old has watched Encanto more times than she has ever watched Frozen 1 and 2 combined.

the songs are great.
no surprise, but we love "We Don't Talk About Bruno", "Surface Pressure" and "The Family Madrigal", the most.

Not only is he super talented, but I love when mega talents are instantly recognizable. When they have their own flavour. Watching it and not knowing who wrote the songs, I just knew he did. First name that came to my mind when listening to them was Lin Manuel Miranda.

I was pretty surprised when I found out the voice of Mirabel was the actress from Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Had no idea she had the vocal talents she does.

If you hear her real voice it’s already surprising because it’s nothing like Rosa’s on B99.

Yeah, her whole personality is polar opposites from Rosa.

Inspired by Russia's pending invasion of Ukraine, I started watching The Americans.

The hockey history in that seems to be pretty accurate. In season 1, I think it's episode 10, you see the Calgary Flames and Flyers game 7 playing in the background at Beeman's house when he's hosting a party in the spring of 81. Also make mention of Dennis Maruk being a highlight for the 81-82 Capitals in season two...had no idea he put up 60 goals and 136 points that year.

Tom Hanks continues his quest to play every character ever...

Today is Disney's Investors Day, so we should expect a bunch of new promo material.

Looks like they've changed her powers for this. Makes sense since stretchy powers always look cheesy on the screen and probably cost more to produce.

Could be a fun one for the kids and I'll probably check it out.

Yeah I was really wondering how they'd do her powers since they'd look completely stupid IMO.

Kinda like Never Have I Ever except with superpowers, could be fun!

Looks pretty bad, I think they know it's bad too since they're sending it out against their own Obi-Wan Kenobi show.

I think it's a different demographic. Similar to the Stargirl show (which is actually decent).
