But you gotta admit, there were times the coyotes were pushing pretty hard and had us in trouble at important points in the game.

Good offensive output by Kadri. Hopefully that gets him going again. He (and the line) has looked much better over the last few games

I admit it

Still, the Flames certainly controlled more of the game

Oh sure
But it was the extremes that made it weird to me
Like I said, Arizona pushed hard at times and it was all we could handle
They are a better team than they’ve been in recent history
Hopefully they put in a big effort on Wednesday in Edmonton

Clayton Keller is so skilled ... some of the passes he made out there tonight were just unreal.

The one when Keller had it behind the net and came out front to pass it to the D (O'Brien?) was impressive.

Oh no that was Stecher. Cross-seam, right? That was probably Vladar's best save of the night aside from the one on Fischer in the final minute.

Keller also set up Chychrun's goal. Heck of a hockey player, reminds me a little of Johnny.

Yeah, you're right, Stecher. A lot of players would panic in that situation but he was stickhandling aggressively back there and created that play.

Keller's really been underwhelming to me in the past but looked quite impressive in this game.

Vladar will be to Marstrom what Kiprusoff was to Turek

My bad, I guess.

Barely noticed him.

No shots on goal. One secondary assist.

What did I miss.

I noticed Ruzicka a lot more!

With respect to Arizona, I did notice Keller and Maccelli quite a bit as play drivers and creating chances. I was interested to see Guenther and barely noticed him. Crouse, for all the praise, seemed lackluster as well. Got the one chance and Vladar saved it, but that was about it.

Pretty meh game but good enough in spurts. Nice to play some teams where you don't need your A game to win for a change.

Hopefully some PP points spark some confidence offensively.

You mean Markstrom is going to renegotiate his contract and take a pay cut to help the team?

He's not a shooter!

Ruzicka had a good night, too. No arguments here.

Edit: also, Keller's assist was a primary.

If Keller could get away from the 'yotes, he would be a superstar, up there with the likes of a Mitch Marner.

I hope not. not sure if anyone else remembers but early that year he got bronx cheered and reacted by getting mad at the fans. complained post game about how the saddledome crowd had no respect for goalies and even jeered Vernon. Sutter stopped playing him on home ice.
