Yeah I was thinking probably someone found the bodies and reported them. Not sure why they picked 4am but maybe they got the tip last night and just wanted an early start. It didn't look like they were very far off the road.

Probably was taking a lot of flak around the city after his interview on tv and wanted to augment his appearance as much as possible.

I think this as well as the fact that child killers sometimes aren't dealt with well in the Remand Center and in prison in general.

Perhaps the advice from the lawyer was to change his appearance as much as possible while he still had the time to do it.
