I laughed my butt off when the Bombers lost earlier in the week. Then I went to the game tonight. So... sorry: this one's on me and my bad karma.

Oh, and also the offense who let the rest of the team down by scoring three measly points in the second half.

Stamps need to make a QB change, 3 points in the second half by the offense

Mitchell is looking old

20 points produced by the special teams and defense.....

I really like Jake Maier every time he gets a chance to play.

All true but a football team should win a game when they put up 40....regardless of how those points were earned.

I think Rypien moved to Spokane when he was 3.

Not when your defense is on the field for 60% of the game. Offense was anemic.

In my mind the offensive play calls are designed to be safe, low risk. The exception was 2 deeper passes for TDs tonight but for the most part, they play it safe.

On another note, my boy "won" an Alex Singleton signed jersey tonight. The lady from the Stamps just came up and gave it to him. Pictures on the link below.

Mark Rypien is Calgarian as much as Ted Cruz is a Calgarian. haha

Glad I went to see Rourke live. He is not going to be in the CFL next year.

Can't believe the Stamps didn't go for the single point with that last punt. There was no way we were keeping Rourke from getting a field goal on that last drive.

He'll probably be in the CFL for at least a few years. Not sure he'd want to rot on a NFL practice roster like Casey Printers did.

He would likely makes 8X more money holding a clipboard in the NFL than he will see in Canada.

At this rate Rourke will be a $1mm CfL player. Not saying he wouldn't jump at the chance to play in the NFL but he'll make a tonne here.

No one is making that kind of dough in the CFL anymore.

Bo took a huge cut to make things work a couple years ago and he wasnt even at 1M.

With an entire season of lost revenue and a limited one since that happened, there is just not that kind of dough available for one guy.

Backups in the NFL usually get North of 3M....unless on their rookie deals still.

He will be trying out for NFL teams in the offseason and there's a good chance he will be playing in preseason NFL next year. He has to chase the dream now while the iron is hot.

Not if he doesn't make an active roster. As a non drafted guy, I doubt he gets any 7 figure offers.

If he ever wants to start which is the best way to get that type of backup money he needs more playing experience. So I do think his best move is to play two more years, than try and make an NFL roster where he might carve out a Taylor Heinieke type role on a team like the current New York Giants who used a high pick on a QB who really has not panned out type of thing.

Given the offensive line struggles Dave has moved the offense towards more high percentage quick throws. The funny thing is that Bo's completion percentage is still 2nd worst in the league amongst starting QB's despite being given easier throws to complete. The Bo to Jorden combination right now may be the worst in the league when you look at targets to completions (64/35) for a measly 9.6 yards per catch. Despite the low production Bo targets Jorden more than any other WR by a decent margin. It's absolutely asinine that this is being allowed to continue.

When Henry is out, they really lack a big play-making receiver. I also wonder if it is time to question how good this team really is? They haven't beat anyone good yet. 0-3 vs Winnipeg and BC. They've won the games against the east and Edmonton, which is great and you have to win those games but I think it is safe to say they are the 3rd best team in the league now.

Chris Streveler who was an average at best CFL guy....gets 900K a year as a gimmick type QB.

That was after playing 2 seasons in Arizona....attempting 25 passes during that time.

Rourke, if he keeps this kind of season going, will easily command double that to sign a deal down there.

There is a dearth of QB play in that league as much as there is in Canada.

Streveler had an impressive preseason game for the Eagles this week with two TD passes. It's kind of impressive that he's been able to hang in the NFL given his limited arm talent.
